1-1/4" Unistrut Framing

Unistrut's 1.25" metal framing system, also referred to as the Unistrut A-Series, is comparable to its more popular 1-5/8" series, but on a slightly smaller scale. In the 1-5/8" series, all strut channel is 1.625" wide. In the a series, strut channel is 1.25" wide. Both series have their own fittings and hardware, designed specifically to be used with that channel width, though the a-series includes a much smaller variety of compatible fitting and hardware options.

What Options Are Available for 1-1/4" Unistrut Channel?

1-1/4" Channel

A series channel is only available as a solid length, without any holes, slots, or perforations. 1-1/4" strut channel is manufactured from cold formed, low-carbon 14 gauge strip steel (Plain: ASTM A1001 SS GR 33, Pre-Galvanized: ASTM A653 GR 33). Standard channel lengths are 10 feet or 20 feet. Available channel finishes include: Perma-Green III (GR), Pre-Galvanized (PG), and Plain (PL).

A1000: 1-1/4" x 1-1/4", 14 gauge

A1001: 1-1/4" x 2-1/2", back-to-back (double strut) channel, 14 gauge

A1001A:-1/4" x 2-1/2", side-by-side (double strut) channel, 14 gauge

A1001B:-1/4" x 2-1/2", front side-to-back side (double strut) channel, 14 gauge

A1001C:-1/4" x 2-1/2", side-to-back (double strut) channel, 14 gauge

1-1/4" x 3/4" A3300 Shallow Series

A3300: 1-1/4" x 3/4", 14 gauge

A3301: 1-1/4" x 1-1/4", back-to-back (double strut) channel, 14 gauge

1-1/4" Hardware, End Caps & Closure Strips

Spring Nuts and Channel Nuts are manufactured from mild steel bars conforming to ASTM A576, GR 1015, and are case hardened. Standard finish is Electro-Galvanized (EG).

1-1/4" Fittings

1-1/4" Unistrut Fittings are made from hot rolled, pickled and oiled steel plate or strip and conform to ASTM A1011 SS GR 33. Fittings are available in Perma-Green or Plain finishes.

Standard Dimensions for 1-1/4" Width Series Channel Fittings (unless otherwise specified on Unistrut drawings):

Hole Diameter: 13/32", Hole Spacing - from End: 5/8", Hole Spacing - on Center: 1-1/2", Width: 1-1/4", Thickness: 3/16".
