Eberl Iron Works launches two brand-new, responsive eCommerce websites
BUFFALO, NY – Customers of eberliron.com's Unistrut Buffalo Supports (UBS) and Traffic Safety Products (TSP) divisions can now find an enhanced shopping experience care of two newly launched eCommerce sites:
Originally part of eberliron.com the UBS and TSP stores were separated from the main site onto new domains and launched in late February. The eCommerce sites were built to provide a better shopping experience to customers. Each new store caters specifically to the differing needs of UBS and TSP customers.
The improved functionality of the new sites offers easier navigation, improved search and product filtering capabilities, better shipping options with real-time rate quotes from select carriers, access to account history, a responsive design that works well across all of your devices and much more.
Reaction to the new sites has been overwhelmingly positive, according to co-owners John C. Eberl, chief executive officer, and Nora E. Eberl, chief financial officer. “Our business customers are especially excited for the new sites,” notes Nora Eberl. “It's easier than ever for them to request quotes, place new orders and follow up on them, once their account is synced.”
Increased online ordering capabilities for business customers allow them to place orders online and pay with a purchase order, provided they have account terms, or with a credit card, all while enjoying any special product discounts or tax rates that are already associated with their existing account.
“This is a real game changer for us,” John Eberl explains. “We've never had a way to provide our business customers with the means to purchase with us online before,” he states. “But now that our online stores are linked with our ERP software, they can access all of their current account features online 24/7."
Developed by Silk Software, in conjunction with Epicor ERP Systems and Eberl’s own Marketing Department, the new websites are the culmination of a two-year long team effort led by Elizabeth Durand, EIW’s head of marketing and online sales, and her assistant, Brandon Cammarano.
Established in 1923 as a small welding shop, Eberl Iron Works, Inc. maintains headquarters at its original Buffalo location and serves markets across North America.
